Type: 35mm Half-Frame Film Camera
The Thrifty, Half-Frame Darling. The half-frame concept means 72 photos on a standard 36-exp roll, which is the ultimate stay broke hack. Fantastic for creating automatic, visually-linked diptychs and telling twin stories.
When to Use: To maximize creative output, challenge composition, and get that unique vertical orientation half-frame grain and feel.
Film: Takes any 35mm film (half-frame format)
Lens: 22mm wide-angle lens
Aperture: Fixed at f/9.5
Focusing: Fixed Focus (1m – ∞)
Default Shot: When held horizontally, the resulting 72 half-frames are all vertical (portrait orientation)
Exposure: Fixed f/9.5 and 1/100 sec.
Film Note: Use ISO 200/400 for bright daylight; ISO 800 is recommended for general use, given the fixed speed.
Power: Requires 1x AAA battery for the flash (not needed for shooting)
