Lomomatic 110

Type: 110 Pocket Film Camera
The Lo-Fi Legend. It’s orange, it’s plastic, and it’s more fun than a camera has any right to be. This isn’t about perfection; it’s about the grain, the light leaks, and that iconic "I found this in my cool aunt’s attic" aesthetic. If you want to stop overthinking your shots and start capturing the vibe, this is your new best friend.
When to Use: For when you're traveling light but the aesthetic is heavy. Perfect for late-night parties where the detachable flash becomes your literal savior, or golden hour walks where you want everything to look like a nostalgic indie movie poster. It’s the ultimate "vibe check" in camera form.
Katie's Tips :
Lomomatic 110
Small film, Big Glass 🎞️🧡
The f/2.8 aperture on this glass lens is a game-changer for 110 film. Most older 110 camera models are fixed at f/8 or f/11, making them useless indoors. With the f/2.8 setting, you can actually get some "bokeh" (background blur) and shoot in lower light without the flash. Not to mention the Orange Flash Gels are incredible for giving your night shots a warm, 70s-film-set "glow."
Format: 110 Pocket Film (Cartridge)
Lens: Minitar-1 23mm Glass Lens (The sharpest 110 lens on the market!)
Aperture: Multiple settings between f/2.8 (for low light/bokeh) or f/5.6.
Shutter Speed: Fully Automatic (30s to 1/250s) + Bulb mode
ISO: Manual switch for 100, 200, or 400 ISO (matches your film cartridge)
Focus: Zone Focusing (0.8m, 1.5m, 3m, and Infinity).
Viewfinder: Integrated Albada-type
The Fact-Check: This is a bright-frame viewfinder that slides out when you open the camera. It’s surprisingly accurate for its size, but remember the parallax rule for anything closer than 1.5 meters!
Flash: Detachable Flash (included with the Orange edition). It uses a unique "Flash Command" connection and comes with colorful gel filters.
Key Features: Multiple Exposure (MX) switch for layering shots and a "Sliding" power/advance mechanism.
Film Type: 110 Film Cartridges
The "KatieK" Pro-Tip: 110 film is tiny, so the grain is much more visible than 35mm. Lean into it! Use Lomography Orca (B&W) for a classic noir look or LomoChrome Purple for a psychedelic dreamscape.
Loading: "Drop-in" cartridge loading. No threading, no stress. Just drop it in, slide the camera to advance, and you're ready.
Power: Uses 1x CR2 battery
Function: Battery powers the automatic light meter and electronic shutter
Battery Life: On a fresh CR2 battery, you can typically expect to get through 15 to 20 cartridges of film (approx. 360–480 shots) if you are shooting primarily in daylight without the flash.
The LED Check: Look at the small LED light on the back of the camera. If it glows Red when you press the shutter halfway, your battery is low.
The Fact-Check: Unlike your mechanical 35mm cameras, the Lomomatic needs a battery to fire. Always carry a spare CR2 in your bag so you don't get stuck with a locked shutter.
