Finally made it to the New Britain Museum of American Art. Honestly, I just needed to get out of the studio and look at something other than my own screen for a few hours 🎨✨

The layout is what really got me; going from those super moody, deep red galleries into that room with the bright yellow floors is such a trip. Good drinks, better company, and a solid excuse to get out of the house for a bit 🥂✨

Honestly, last Saturday at the NBMAA was exactly the reset I needed 🍎✨

Daztar and I went to the Craft Sippin’ event, and it was such a cool way to see the museum. Since I’m not a beer person, I was just happy to wander around with my little 5 oz. taster of local cider.

The best part, though, was seeing how many local artists were actually there as vendors. It was so cool to be looking at the permanent galleries one minute and then chatting with makers like Papineau Studio or Ink & Grain the next. It makes the whole art world feel a lot more like a community and less like a "don’t touch" exhibit 🖼️✍️

It’s definitely a more low-key way to spend a weekend, but seeing everyone’s craft, from the breweries to the printmakers, really got me excited to get back to my own work.

This Madison Ave rooftop moment was the actual highlight of my week 🏙️✨ Between the NYC skyline and this color palette, I’m basically living in a Wes Anderson film, and I’m not mad about it.

I snagged this jumpsuit from Anthropologie (the fit? immaculate) and layered it with this Princess Highway shirt since it won't stop snowing, but I still needed sparkle ❄️✨ The Explora event was such a vibe – my creative brain is currently vibrating at a very high frequency.

I got to tag along with Courtney to catch Explora Journeys’ new campaign announcement, and let me tell you – this event was next level. We got the chance to hang out with one of our Largay advisors, Michael Souza, and the entire evening was just pure creative fuel.

Honestly, there is nothing like a day trip to the city to remind you why you do what you do. Courtney and I hopped in the car and headed straight for the Waldorf Astoria for the Largay tour, and let’s just say… my camera roll is currently screaming.

It’s one thing to see these iconic spaces in a magazine, but being there in person? Seeing the scale of the murals and the way the light hits that marble? It’s a total masterclass in design. I spent the whole tour basically mentally framing every corner. As a creator, you just know when a space has that "it" factor, and the Waldorf is the blueprint 🏛️✨
