My background is rooted in formal photography and design, forged in the sometimes-stuffy halls of art school.
Fun fact: I was routinely told that my work was "too colorful," "too girly," and that my design choices looked like I wasn't taking the whole thing "seriously." And honestly? That stung.
But you know what? Who are they to tell me I'm not taking it seriously? I am seriously unserious.
This studio is the direct result of refusing to shrink down those vibrant, joyful elements. It’s the proof that sticking to your gut always wins. Don't ever let anyone tell you that you're doing it wrong. Play never hurt anyone.

The one where I start trusting my own instincts
After school, I jumped straight into the deep end of the real world. That meant applying all my design and marketing fundamentals at Largay Travel.
My job as a Marketing Assistant is basically tackling every visual chaos emergency for our travel advisors. I'm talking branding, website design, print materials, massive email campaigns... the works! Nothing has brought me more joy than the opportunity to confidently voice my visual opinion, chat with clients, and genuinely connect with people through design.
But let me tell you, it's also the most humbling thing ever. I still look back and giggle at the first few projects I tackled. That's fine! Growth is inevitable, and honestly, who cares? The goal is to keep learning.
Even with the real-world schedule, the camera legacy goes on! KatieKPrintStudio is my defiant commitment to that process; it’s where I make the time and space for the things that bring me (and hopefully others) happiness. The vibe here is very simple: keep your world colorful, because joy is totally reachable.
