Paper Shoot

Type: Minimalist Digital Camera (Point-and-Shoot)
High Vibe, Lo-Fi. The Paper Shoot is the "anti-camera" for the over-filtered age. It’s designed around an incredibly thin (we’re talking 12mm!) mainboard, sandwiched between customizable paper cases that look like everything from retro SLRs to modern art. It has no screen, forcing you to stay in the moment rather than chimping. It captures raw, perfectly imperfect digital images that look like scanned 35mm film or a lo-fi digicam from 2005.
When to Use: For the nights that are too blurry for a DSLR but too iconic to forget. It’s the ultimate stealth shooter; it blends into any situation and fits in your smallest pocket. Best served with a high-energy house party, a long road trip, or a total disregard for "good" composition.
Katie's Tips :
Paper Shoot
The ultimate cure for "phone fatigue" 📵✨
The Paper Shoot has a "sweet spot" focus distance of about 3 feet (1m). If you’re too close to your subject, it will be blurry, but anything beyond that is surprisingly sharp for a plastic lens. Also, the USB port isn't just for power; you can plug in magnetic lenses (like a wide-angle or fish-eye) for instant effects without using digital filters!
Sensor: 16MP CMOS (Produces the unique "Paper Shoot" film-like grain)
Lens: Fixed-Focus plastic lens
Aperture: Fixed at f/2.2
ISO: Automatic, ranging from 100 to 3200
Viewfinder: Pinhole Optical Viewfinder
The Usage: The small rectangular opening in the paper casing is your only guide. Lean into the mystery; the "blind shooting" is part of the therapy.
Key Features: One large, tactile button on the front; long-press to turn on/off; short-press to shoot.
Internal Memory: None (The camera will not fire without an SD card)
SD Card: Requires a Micro SD card
Max Capacity: Supports up to 128GB (Though 32GB is plenty for thousands of these lo-fi files)
Transfer: uses a specialized Micro-USB to USB-C/Lightning cable (or wireless SD card adapters) for instant phone transfer
Activation: Standard units only shoot photos. To unlock 10-second 1440p video clips and time-lapse modes, you must use an optional function card.
Usage: Plug the function card into the SD slot (it has a Micro-SD inside it) and the camera will activate the extra modes
Power: Because these modes are memory-intensive, you must be plugged into an external power source (like a small power bank) via the USB-C port for video or time-lapse to work.
Power: Requires 2x AAA batteries
The "KatieK" Pro-Tip: Do yourself a massive favor and buy high-quality Rechargeable AAA batteries. This camera is a power-hog, and standard alkaline AAAs will only last for a single cartridge of film if you're lucky. High-capacity rechargeables can get you through a whole weekend.
